Pastoral Mentor / Student Support Worker

Provide pastoral care, mentoring and safeguarding support within a secondary education setting. This full-time, term-time role supports student progress, behaviour management and personal development across Key Stages 3 and 4.

SALARY: £24,796 per annum FTE / Actual Annual Salary £20,116 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 35 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm, Term Time only (39 weeks)

With a strong focus on safeguarding, student wellbeing and inclusion, this is a rewarding opportunity within a supportive academy environment.

The Pastoral Mentor / Student Support Worker will work closely with Year Heads and the wider pastoral care team to provide mentoring, early intervention and behaviour management support. You will play a key role in promoting positive student progress and personal development.

As a Pastoral Mentor / Student Support Worker you will build trusted relationships, support emotional wellbeing and contribute to a safe, inclusive school community where every learner can thrive.
