A fantastic opportunity for a Pastry CDP to join our experienced and talented kitchen brigade. Based in the Marylebone High Street area. Set in the heart of Marylebone, OPSO introduced and established the Modern Greek food in Londons dining since 2014, combining the contemporary culinary perspective with the famous Greek hospitality. We pride ourselves in the quality of our food, cooking with the freshest, seasonal, high-quality ingredients. We are looking to recruit a passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. You will be expected to work at highest level and capable of working through a busy a la carte service. Having previous experience and knowledge of Greek/Mediterranean cuisine would be highly recommended. This is a great opportunity for a Pastry Chef wishing to learn and progress along our highly awarded head chefs. Staff will be fully trained by our team of Senior Chefs, and they will learn new techniques and methods of cooking. Requirements: -Previous 3 years experience in a high-end hospitality venue in the Pastry section -Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team -Eagerness to learn and progress within our team Responsibilities: -Oversee the preparation and presentation of a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity. -Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient food production and service flow. -Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while managing kitchen operations. -Follow recipes or develop new ones to maintain quality and consistency. -Ensure all pastries and desserts are prepared to the highest standard. - Keep the pastry section clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards. -Coordinate with the service team for special orders or events.
