This beautiful lake district property has built a brilliant reputation and has been awarded 3AA Rosettes for their excellent modern British cuisine, focusing on exceptional local produce and the best that the seasons have to offer.
With an extremely talented brigade in place, they are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef with a minimum 2AA Rosettes, ideally 3AA Rosettes, background to bolster the team as they push for further accolades.

The highly skilled kitchen brigade is led by a Head Chef with an excellent award-winning background and they serve up to 40 covers per service.
As Pastry Chef you will:
Take ownership of the pastry section, ensuring consistency, precision and creativity at every service
Prepare and present high-quality desserts, petit fours, breads and other baked items to an exceptional standard
Work closely with the Head Chef to develop seasonal dessert menus and tasting menu components
Ensure all pastry dishes are executed with accuracy, balance and attention to detail
Maintain excellent organisation within the pastry kitchen, including mise en place and service management
Monitor stock levels, ordering and wastage to ensure effective cost control
Train, mentor and support junior members of the pastry team
Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen discipline
Contribute ideas and innovation while respecting the overall style and ethos of the kitchen
