About the Job

At Langosteria, pastry is an essential expression of our culinary identity. We are looking for a Pastry Commis who brings passion, precision, and a strong desire to learn, supporting the pastry team in delivering refined desserts while maintaining the standards that define our cuisine. This role is ideal for a professional eager to grow in a dynamic fine dining environment, with a strong interest in pastry techniques, creativity, and attention to detail. Support the Pastry Chef and team in the preparation and presentation of desserts according to company standards Prepare ingredients, basic components, and recipes with accuracy and consistency Ensure proper mise en place to guarantee efficiency during service Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations in the pastry section Properly store ingredients and assist with stock rotation following company procedures Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service

About You

Minimum one year of experience in a pastry kitchen or similar role

Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and strong willingness to learn and improve Strong team spirit and good communication skills High attention to detail, precision, and respect for standards and procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced fine dining environment Please apply only if you have the right to work in the UK. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced fine dining environment and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency in the kitchen. Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards

Support chefs and the kitchen team with basic preparation and daily tasks as required

Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and back-of-house areas

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with Langosteria standards

Assist with deliveries, storage, and stock rotation to ensure proper handling of goods

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

About You

Minimum one year of experience in fine dining or high-end hospitality

Good knowledge of service standards and restaurant operations

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
