A newly created position within a tier#1 international Patent & Trade Mark practice. A pivotal role to support The Partners & Fee earners – this is a client focussed role and covers support with Patents Trademarks and Designs


Specifically the role will experience a myriad of responsibilities form handling assignments and declarations to setting up Watches, Recordals, preparation and management of all non- technical administration and be the first point of contact for all client info. Responsibility for various non-technical stages of prosecuting patent/trade mark/design applications.

Also Handling and coordination of filing of multiple international applications, for example PCT National Phase, international TM filing program, etc.

As well as management of formalities requirements that may arise.

The role will aslo be involved in project work, including business change and systems projects.


The role necessitates an individual with outstanding communication skills, is confident, clearly motivated and passionate about IP and aspires to securing a role with this significance in a job you can call your own.


The firm have opened this role up to candidates who may well be Patent paralegals already, or indeed aspirational Patent Records staff or Patent secretarial staff eager to take on more responsibility where you can express your knowledge and professionalism. … Clearly the successful candidate has IP experience to undertake this role, you will possess the CIPA admin certificate and also Inprotech.
