Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a Payments Product Manager to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for shaping the payment method strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate business needs into innovative, scalable solutions.

• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, regulatory changes, and competitive opportunities.
• Monitor product performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost control.
• Ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and governance frameworks across all product activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of payment method initiatives-from concept through to live client deployment.
• Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and partners to ensure seamless integration and service quality.
• Define and own the product vision for payment methods within the Smartpay Advance gateway.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Deep understanding of payment methods relevant to corporate merchants.
• Proven experience in product management within a fintech or payments environment.
• Experience delivering projects from inception to live client use.
• Familiarity with third-party payment providers and partner ecosystems.
• Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and agile delivery methodologies.
