Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid. However, you'll work in a Tesco Insurance and Money Services' office for a minimum of 2 days per week for this position. Occasional travel to other Tesco offices may also be required.

Opportunity

We're recruiting a Payments Product Manager to join our Digital team. This exciting new role will report to the Head of Digital, and lead a Payments Product team to deliver seamless, secure, and innovative payment experiences for our Insurance Customers. You'll be responsible for accepting more than 10m card and direct debit payments from our customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Role

•Develop and deliver our payments product strategy, roadmap and OKRs. Translate customer needs into hypotheses and concepts that can be delivered by payment teams and partners to achieve measurable outcomes.
•Lead your teams in gathering qualitative and quantitative insights about our market and customer needs. Analyse user behaviour to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making & strategic product discovery.
•Engage directly with our customers throughout, ensuring that their needs are built into our payment product backlogs and releases.
•Work collaboratively with marketing, product, customer service, and technology teams to align payments with overall business objectives. Steer and guide the payment teams and partners to achieve the right outcomes.
•Support the flow of work from the portfolio backlog to payment teams and partners, ensuring it always reflects the most current customer needs. Balance competing priorities and ensure backlogs are informed by robust feedback loops.
•Develop and manage business cases for payment initiatives and identify the actions needed to realise the benefits.
•Manage and report on performance against payment objectives and key results (OKRs); set appropriate priorities for direct reports; and ensure the achievement of payment OKRs.

You'll need (min experience)

•Proven payments experience in a related industry.
•Previous experience in a leadership role and working with and influencing a diverse range of senior stakeholders.
•Experience working with payment partners, technologies, and tools, demonstrating ability to define and deliver new functionality / capability.
•Strong ability to communicate analysis, insights, and outcomes to a range of audiences across the business.
•Demonstrable commercial acumen. Show a good understanding of business objectives and ability to align plans to these.
•A relentless focus on developing exceptional digital customer experiences that deliver measurable outcomes.
•Ability to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to drive digital transformation.

•Insurance experience is advantageous.
•Previous Financial Services experience.
•Experience working in an agile change environment.
