Payroll & Accounts Administrator

Norwich (On-site) £30,000 - £35,000 Hours: Full-time or part-time considered

The Role

A varied position combining payroll and accounts support within a growing accountancy firm.

You will assist with client payroll processing while also supporting bookkeeping and tax-related tasks, working closely with the Payroll Manager and wider team.

Key Responsibilities

* Support end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients

* Provide holiday/sickness cover for payroll and accounts tasks

* Assist with bookkeeping and routine accounting duties

* Support tax return preparation

* Liaise directly with clients and respond to queries

* Maintain accurate payroll and financial records

* Work across multiple clients with varying complexity

The Ideal Candidate

* Experience in payroll and/or bookkeeping

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Confident communicating with clients

* Familiar with accounting/payroll systems (e.g. BrightPay, QuickBooks desirable)

* Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities

* Proactive and adaptable within a small team environment
