Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with large service organisation who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team in Sunderland.

Key Duties/Tasks:

Supporting the payroll process in a high volume payroll environment using Itrent
End-to-end payroll processing
Dealing with processing starters and leaver records
Queries
P11D's
RTI's
SSP/SMP/SPP
Reconciling data
Legislation, manual calculations
Handling payroll queries
HMRC submissions

Desirable skills and attributes:

Worked as a Payroll assistant or similar
Ability to communicate at all levels
Understand the payroll deadlines & requirements
Able to do end to end payroll
Great customer service as dealing with queries
