With operations in nearly 100 countries and a diverse workforce, this is a fast-paced but highly rewarding environment with a strong focus on professional development and internal growth. Role Overview: As a Payroll Controller, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and delivery of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time. This role involves regular interaction with internal departments, secure handling of confidential records, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will be instrumental in maintaining payroll efficiency across the business and supporting the wider finance and HR teams. Key Duties: Collect and verify employee timekeeping data and enter records for processing Maintain payroll records for new starters, leavers, and contractual changes Handle payroll-related queries from staff across various departments Generate payroll reports and summaries as required by the finance team Support payroll-related audits by preparing and organising documentation Coordinate onboarding and leaver documentation in line with payroll procedures Ensure timely submission of data for monthly payroll cycles Uphold internal standards relating to data privacy and information security Monitor digital record-keeping systems for accuracy and compliance Assist in improving payroll workflows, templates, and automation tools Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture within the team and the wider business Maintain familiarity with evolving policies, tax legislation, and best practices What We're Looking For: Background in payroll or finance administration Comfortable working with sensitive data in a confidential environment Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Confidence using payroll systems and MS Office (Excel in particular) Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Able to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines Eager to learn and develop within a supportive team Minimum Requirements: Two A-Levels or equivalent post-secondary education Previous experience in payroll or a similar administrative role Desirable: CIPP (or equivalent) qualification or working towards it Experience with ERP or payroll software is an advantage This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership in a key support function within a global organisation committed to safety, innovation, and employee growth.
