Your new company HAYS have partnered exclusively with this leading technology business based in the Cheshire/Stockport area. As they seek a part-time Payroll Manager on a fixed term basis for approximately 15 months. Your new role This role plays a vital part in ensuring our colleagues are paid accurately, on time, and with care, while continuously improving payroll processes and supporting a positive employee experience.You will take ownership of end-to-end payroll delivery, working closely with HR, Finance and external providers, and acting as a trusted expert for all payroll-related matters.What you'll need to succeed Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness.Act as the subject-matter expert for payroll queries, providing clear advice to colleagues and stakeholdersEnsure full compliance with HMRC legislation, RTI submissions, statutory payments and reporting requirementsOversee pension contributions, auto-enrolment processes and liaison with pension providersManage payroll controls, reconciliations and month-end / year-end activities including P60s and P11Ds Partner closely with HR and Finance to ensure seamless data flows and strong governanceIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and systems, supporting continuous improvementWork collaboratively with external payroll providers and local country vendorsSupport audits and respond to payroll-related queries confidently and professionally.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
