The Role
You'll take ownership of a varied client payroll portfolio, becoming the go to person for delivering smooth, accurate and compliant payroll services. It's hands on, people ocused and perfect for someone who enjoys problem solving and working to clear routines and deadlines.
What You'll Do
Manage end to end payroll processes for a diverse client base
Apply PAYE and NIC rules accurately
Input and update all starter, leaver and benefit changes
Calculate statutory payments and mid month leaver pay
Produce reports, payslips and ensure timely salary payments
Submit FPS/EPS files and handle HMRC communication
Resolve client queries quickly and professionally
Support with BACS processes and check colleagues' payrolls
Maintain schedules, records and administrative accuracy
Work within compliance guidelines and keep your knowledge up to date
Who You Are
Experienced in payroll with solid understanding of PAYE/NIC
Confident with payroll software and MS Office
Ideally progressing through a CIPP qualification (desirable)
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Comfortable managing deadlines and juggling multiple tasks
Strong communicator with a client first mindset
Reliable, team focused and keen to keep developing your skills
