An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Project Support professional to join a highly respected organisation operating across England and Wales during a significant business-wide transformation programme.
This organisation is currently undergoing a period of major change and growth, including the implementation of a state-of-the-art integrated HR and Payroll system. With approximately 1,000 employees across three payrolls, the business is embarking on a project to streamline and consolidate payroll processes, creating an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional to play a key role in this transformation.
This role sits within the payroll team and will work closely with the Finance Director and Payroll Transformation Manager, supporting the implementation of a new HR/Payroll and Time & Attendance system. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a high-profile transformation project that will add real value to your CV.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide payroll support throughout a major HR/Payroll system implementation project
Assist with data preparation, cleansing and migration as part of the new system rollout
Support the consolidation of three existing payrolls into a streamlined structure
Maintain high levels of accuracy in payroll data entry and validation
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll information is accurate and up to date
Support testing, reporting and process improvements throughout the transformation project
Assist the Payroll Transformation Manager with project-related tasks and payroll process documentation
About You
We are looking for an individual who brings energy, dynamism and attention to detail, and who genuinely wants to contribute to a meaningful project.
You will ideally have:
Previous payroll experience within a medium or large organisation
Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
Experience working with high volumes of payroll data
Strong data entry and data accuracy skills
Experience with Sage Payroll (highly advantageous)
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively during periods of change
A positive mindset and a desire to make a real difference
