What will the Payroll Senior role involve?

Overseeing end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RTI, auto-enrolment pensions, and CIS schemes
Managing pension contributions and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
Supporting CIS scheme administration, including returns and client liaison
Collaborating closely with the accountancy team on bookkeeping and financial data reconciliation
Utilising cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, BrightManager, and Dext
Providing clear and professional payroll advice to clients, acting as a trusted point of contact
Mentoring junior staff and assisting in the development of payroll procedures as the team expands
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Senior vacancy:

Qualified in payroll (CIPP certification, Foundation Degree, or equivalent)
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing
Strong understanding of pension auto-enrolment, compliance, and CIS scheme management
Comfortable working independently with excellent organisational and communication skills
Demonstrates attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Aspires to grow professionally within a thriving practice, with leadership ambitions in payroll management
