Payroll Specialist London | 9-month Fixed Term Contract | £50,000 - £58,000pa An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a highly regarded organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and resilient monthly payroll process, while also supporting the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the monthly payroll timetable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. Act as a subject matter expert on payroll matters, including statutory payments, allowances, and benefits. Partner closely with HR and Finance colleagues to resolve queries and ensure data accuracy across HR and payroll systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax legislation and compliance requirements. Contribute to the review and development of payroll policies and support annual pay review modelling. Essential Experience: The successful candidate will bring: Strong experience working within HR and payroll functions, ideally in complex organisations.
