Job Title PCB Assembler

Town Maldon

Salary circa £28,000 depending on experience

An expanding family run, high technology company in Maldon, are looking to recruit a PCB Assembler / Conventional Assembler to assemble electronic products to a high quality with limited supervision. Candidates must have though hole assembly experience to be considered for this role.

Duties:

Perform standard conventional hand assembly
Component Pre-forming
Through hole soldering
Perform reworks and modifications
Component Insertion
Occasionally they may be required to put boards through the selective soldering machine

Experience Required:

Experience in electronic manufacturing.
A working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
Hold a J-STD-001 certification or be willing to complete certification.
Must have good component recognition skills and be able to determine the polarity of the components being placed from drawings or board markings
Rework and modification experience, including hand soldering of SMT components.
Must be familiar with a range of hand tools including soldering irons, cutters and magnifiers Benefits:
