Do you want to make a difference with the work you do? Join us as a PCB Technician As a PCB Technician, you'll play a key role within our fast-paced, technology-driven surface-mount production team. Acting as a technical lead, youll focus on maintaining high output yields, performing first-line fault finding, and ensuring our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: Perform optical inspections of PCBAs using the latest generation technology Conduct first-line fault finding and carry out rework as required Record and maintain quality data within manufacturing traceability systems Develop, refine, and enhance optical inspection programs Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams regarding quality concerns Perform routine first-line maintenance on production equipment Maintain high standards of safety, organisation, and housekeeping within the production cell Participate in structured root-cause analysis to support continuous improvement Qualifications & Experience: Strong Communicator Working with a dynamic and fast-paced team, you will need to communicate clearly and effectively with your team mates Problem Solver Capable of addressing production issues promptly and making informed decisions to maintain yield targets Attention to Detail Committed to upholding high manufacturing standards Priority Management Comfortable managing competing demands within a high-mix production environment Educational Requirements: HNC/NVQ or Level 3 Diploma in Electronics Manufacturing or similar (desirable) Experience: Worked in a med/high volume PCBA manufacturing environment (required) Strong IT literacy within Microsoft Operating System (OS) (required) Operated Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) test equipment (desirable) Awareness of the latest PCBA manufacturing technology (desirable) We offer: Competitive base salary plus annual bonus 26 days holiday (rising to 29 with service 37.5-hour working week, with paid overtime and unsociable hours uplift Company vehicle, tools, PPE, and uniform provided Excellent pension scheme with up to 10% employer contribution Flexible benefits tailored to your needs Ongoing training and development, including support for professional memberships How do I apply?
