Role Description

The PCV Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of transport services. This full-time, on-site role is based in Livingston and involves supervising team duties, managing operational tasks, coordinating schedules, and maintaining quality service delivery. The role also includes monitoring compliance, addressing logistical challenges, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory and Leadership skills, with the ability to effectively oversee and support a team
• Proficiency in Operations and Operations Management, including scheduling and ensuring efficient service delivery
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills to manage changing operational needs and resolve issues proactively
• Clear and effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact with team members, management, and customers
• Knowledge of compliance regulations in the transport industry is advantageous
• Familiarity with logistics and fleet management systems is a plus
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in dynamic environments
• Previous experience in a similar operations or supervisory role within the transport industry is a must
• The successful applicant must hold a PCV licence and valid driver CPC card.
