We’re working with a vibrant secondary school in Wakefield that’s on the lookout for a passionate Female PE Teacher to join them after Easter 2026. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a supportive department where energy is high, expectations are clear, and girls’ sport is genuinely valued.
Whether it’s netball in the rain, athletics on a sunny field, or building confidence in students who never thought they were “sporty”, you’ll know that PE is about far more than the scoreboard.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encouraging participation, resilience, and teamwork
Supporting extracurricular sport and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle
Being a positive role model for female students in sport
What the school is looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status, QTS is essential
Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary setting
A commitment to high standards and inclusive sport
Someone who brings energy, warmth, and high expectations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
