PE Teacher
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic PE Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to KS3 - KS5. You will be working alongside a large and very supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PE and Newly Qualified (ECT) Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.
To be considered for this PE Teacher role you must have:
As a member of the PE Department, you will deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable), promoting participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing practical and theoretical lessons while fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement, resilience and achievement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education at secondary level
Ability to plan effective and inclusive lessons tailored to diverse learner needs
Experience delivering a range of sports and physical activities
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents
Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular sports clubs and fixtures
