Job Title: SEN Sports Teacher
Location: Ipswich
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £150 - £250 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Ipswich, who are looking to appoint a passionate SEN Sports Teacher. The school is committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop physically, socially, and emotionally through engaging and structured physical education.
The school is looking to take on a motivated and energetic SEN Sports Teacher on a part-time or full-time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible PE lessons tailored to pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will work closely with support staff to ensure all students can participate safely, build confidence, and enjoy physical activity.
The successful SEN Sports Teacher will have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
· Experience working with children with SEND, ideally within a specialist setting
· A passion for sports and physical education
· A strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
· A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
