About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic People Manager to join our People and Development department, reporting directly to the Head of People, Talent and Development. This is a pivotal role responsible supporting the delivery of a business-focused People service, aligned with our Company objectives.
As People Manager, you will assist the Head of People, Talent and Development in shaping our People function, ensuring it supports business priorities and fosters a thriving workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities

Identifying People priorities and leading key projects to support business objectives
Managing employee relations and performance issues, advising and coaching Line Managers, overseeing absence and sickness processes and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
Reviewing and recommending reward packages, supporting payroll processes, managing the pension scheme and contributing to salary reviews and People budgets
Promoting employee wellbeing across physical, mental, social, and financial aspects; leading and supporting Wellbeing Experts; liaising with occupational health providers
Promoting Company culture, championing employee involvement, managing engagement surveys, and facilitating workforce engagement initiatives
Supporting inclusivity and diversity policies, managing sub group work and analysing data for reporting requirements
Supporting Company succession planning, designing and delivering training interventions, coaching managers and evaluating training effectiveness
Developing the People and On-Boarding Administrator and managing the team in the absence of the Head of People, Talent and DevelopmentWhat We’re Looking For

Experienced People Manager level 5 CIPD qualified, with a commercial mindset and a proven track record in a customer facing and fast moving environment
Strong People experience, specifically in employee relations, plus knowledge of Payroll, Talent and Learning and Development
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best People practices
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
Ability to lead projects and manage change
Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
