Overview Job Title: Performance Marketing Creative Strategist Location: Hybrid (Swinton, Manchester – 3 days in office, 2 remote) Skills Paid Social Creative Strategy, Google Ads (Search & YouTube), Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Direct Response Marketing, Graphic Design, Ad Copywriting, Creative Briefing, Performance Analysis, DTC Marketing About the Role Edison Media is looking for a Performance Marketing Creative Strategist to join our growing, results-driven team. This role sits at the intersection of creative and performance, focused on developing high-converting ad concepts across paid social and Google channels (Search & YouTube) for fast-growing DTC and ecommerce brands. You’ll use data, insights, and creative thinking to produce scroll-stopping and intent-driven campaigns that drive customer acquisition and revenue. You’ll collaborate closely with media buyers, designers, and content teams, taking ideas from concept through to execution and optimisation. What You’ll Be Working On
Owning creative strategy across multiple DTC and ecommerce client accounts Developing high volumes of creative briefs for paid social and Google campaigns (including YouTube and responsive search ads) Writing compelling ad copy, hooks, headlines, and CTAs tailored to both social and search intent Storyboarding and concepting performance-driven creatives for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Collaborating on Google Ads messaging strategy, including testing angles for search and performance max campaigns Researching competitors and trends across Meta, TikTok, and Google platforms Analysing in-platform performance data (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) to identify winning creatives and messaging Applying insights from in-account performance to iterate and scale campaigns Reviewing creative output for quality, brand alignment, and platform compliance Working closely with media buyers to align creative with campaign KPIs across channels Managing the creative workflow from concept through to launch
What We’re Looking For
2+ years’ experience in creative strategy, paid social, performance marketing, or paid search Proven in-account experience across Meta Ads and/or TikTok Ads, plus exposure to Google Ads (Search, YouTube, or Performance Max) Strong background in DTC/ecommerce marketing (essential) Experience or skills in graphic design (ability to create or guide visual assets) Strong understanding of direct response and intent-based marketing Confident writing high-performing hooks, ad copy, search headlines, and scripts Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn performance insights into creative direction Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines Strong collaboration skills across marketing, creative, and performance teams Bonus: Experience or interest in health/wellbeing brands
