Job Description

Location: Shoreditch, London

Working Structure: Office Based (Thursday we work from home)

Reports to: Pharma Distribution Manager

Salary: Up to £32K, plus annual bonus

Who are we?

Since medical cannabis was legalised in the UK in 2018, Cantourage UK has been building the infrastructure that makes this industry work - safely, compliantly and at scale.

We operate across two deeply interconnected worlds:

  • A regulated tele-health clinic, delivering high-quality patient care
  • A licensed pharmaceutical supply operation, powering the wider ecosystem

Together, they form a complex, high-trust system where clinical integrity, operational excellence and smart technology must work in lockstep.

With a strong foundation in place and ambitious growth ahead, we’re now looking for a Pharma Ops Coordinator to strengthen the engine room of our pharmaceutical operations - supporting procurement, distribution, systems and compliance so that patients and partners receive safe, accurate and timely service every single day.

What’s the purpose of the role?

You will play a critical role within our industry-leading Orders team, supporting retail and wholesale distribution across the UK.

This is not a purely administrative role. It’s about operating at the heart of a regulated pharmaceutical supply chain - ensuring orders move accurately, compliance standards are upheld, and operational risks are spotted before they become problems.

Working under the guidance of the Pharma Ops Manager, you’ll support procurement, order processing, system optimisation and customer experience, all within the unique context of distributing unlicensed Schedule 2 controlled drugs.

In short: you’ll help make operational excellence our competitive advantage.

What impact will you have?

Operational Execution & Order Management

  • Process pharmaceutical orders from retail and wholesale customers with precision and urgency
  • Support procurement from domestic and international suppliers
  • Ensure daily ordering cut-off times are met consistently

Systems & Process Optimisation

  • Support and improve core operational systems (inventory management, order processing, tracking)
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical, scalable improvements
  • Act as an early warning “telescope” for operational risks and process gaps

Compliance & Quality Integration

  • Work closely with Team Quality to embed GDP principles across the Orders System and QMS
  • Support compliance documentation and process adherence in a highly regulated environment
  • Help ensure “Compliance Is Our Competitiveness” is lived, not just stated

Customer Experience & Relationship Support

  • Assist in managing relationships with pharmacies, wholesalers and partners
  • Respond to customer queries efficiently and professionally

Data & Analytical Support

  • Perform basic data analysis to support operational decision making
  • Track operational metrics such as inventory levels, lead times and order flow
  • Use reporting tools to surface trends and insights

What will you bring to the table?

  • 1–3 years’ professional experience (operations, supply chain, logistics or similar)
  • Familiarity with operational processes and metrics (inventory, logistics, lead times)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to self-direct in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence working within structured procedures and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and ideally Power BI)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

If you have the following, it’ll be a huge bonus

  • Experience in wholesale distribution or regulated supply chains
  • Exposure to medical cannabis or pharmaceutical environments
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup or emerging industries
  • Academic background in Economics, Maths, Data Science or similar analytical fields

Who wouldn’t thrive in this role?

  • Someone uncomfortable working within structured procedures and regulated environments
  • Someone who prefers slow-moving environments over fast-paced operational settings
  • Someone who avoids ownership or struggles with daily executional discipline
  • Someone uninterested in building systems and processes in a growing company

What do we offer?

36 day annual leave (includes your birthday + all UK public holidays)

Performance based annual bonus

Comprehensive private medical insurance

ClassPass membership (gyms, fitness classes, yoga, massages & more)

Onsite chef 3 times a week, fuelling us with nutritious food
