About the Role
We are recruiting a GPhC-registered Pharmacist to join a community pharmacy based in Stornoway. This is a rare opportunity to work in a close-knit island community while maintaining full clinical scope and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and accurate dispensing services
  • Provide NHS & private clinical services (e.g. CPCS, vaccinations, NMS)
  • Lead and supervise pharmacy team members
  • Ensure full compliance with GPhC and NHS Scotland standards
  • Provide patient consultations and medication reviews
  • Maintain controlled drug governance and SOP adherence
Requirements
  • GPhC registered Pharmacist (essential)
  • Community pharmacy experience preferred
  • Independent Prescribing qualification (desirable, not mandatory)
  • Strong clinical judgement and leadership skills
