Principal Education is currently recruiting a qualified Physics Teacher (QTS) for a well-regarded secondary school in the Tower Hamlets area. This is a full-time teaching opportunity starting April 2026, offering pay in line with the Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale, depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics specialist who is passionate about inspiring students and delivering high-quality science education.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3–5

Support students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations

Contribute to the wider Science department and curriculum development

Monitor and assess student progress effectively

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Degree in Physics or a closely related subject

Experience teaching Physics at secondary school level

Strong classroom management skills

Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
