A high-performing mixed secondary school in Bexley is seeking a committed Physics Teacher to join their dynamic Science department. If you are passionate about inspiring students and promoting scientific understanding, this Physics Teacher role could be the perfect next step in your career.
The Role | Physics Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Inspire students to explore Physics, develop analytical skills, and achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a stimulating and effective Science curriculum.
- Get involved in extracurricular STEM activities and wider school initiatives.
- Excellent laboratories and well-equipped Science classrooms with extensive resources.
- A welcoming and inclusive school community.
- Ongoing professional development and clear career progression.
- Supportive environment with mentorship for ECTs and established teachers seeking 2IC or HoD roles.
- A Qualified Physics Teacher with UK QTS and a relevant Science degree.
- Proven experience delivering engaging lessons in Physics.
- Positive, collaborative, and student-focused approach.
- Commitment to academic achievement and personal development of students.
Location: Bexley
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
