AMLR is proud to be partnering with a renowned marine engineering company based in South-West Wales, with over 30 years of experience designing and building high-performance vessels. Specialising in pilot boats, patrol boats, workboats, and wind farm support vessels, they are recognised for their exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise, and deep marine industry knowledge. Their services include new builds, refits, maintenance, and repair, all delivered to the highest standards of quality and reliability.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Pipe Fitterto join their skilled team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Pipe Fittingand hold a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualification. This role offers the chance to contribute to the production of high-quality steel and aluminium structures within a respected and innovative marine environment.

Key Responsibilities for Pipe Fitterrole:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and weld pipes to required dimensions

  • Install and secure pipes, fittings, valves, and related equipment

  • Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and pressure integrity

  • Repair and replace damaged piping systems

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

  • Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other trades

  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

  • Complete job reports and documentation

Skills & Requirements for Pipe Fitterrole:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Technical training or apprenticeship in pipe fitting preferred

  • Proven experience as a pipe fitter in industrial or commercial settings

  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

  • Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques

  • Familiarity with welding and fabrication techniques

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures
