£19-23 per hour
44 hours: 07:00-16:30, Monday to Thursday and 07:00-15:30 on Friday. Flexibility given and required.
Your Role
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable Mechanical Fitter to join our new team; someone who is passionate about engaging with our values and delivering quality service levels for customers. Full training will be provided to support your learning.
Day to day you will be:
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
- Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
- Attach pipes to structures and bend into position
- Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated
- Perform test on your work or work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints
- Welding, soldering, brazing, fusing of pipework
- Read and interpret specifications to determine layout requirements; Plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles

- You have your own transportation or can reliably travel to site
