Pipefitters – Glasgow (BAE Systems) – 12-Month Contract

We are currently seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team working on an exciting long-term project with BAE Systems in Glasgow.

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 12-month contract

Start Date: ASAP


Role Overview:

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and testing of pipework systems on naval vessels within BAE’s shipbuilding facilities. You’ll be working to high standards of safety and quality as part of a skilled, collaborative team.


✅ Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a pipefitter in a marine, shipbuilding, or heavy engineering environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in pipefitting or a related trade
  • Valid trade papers or apprenticeship certificates
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required
  • Must be able to pass BPSS/security clearance
