The Role
As materials planner, you will be responsible for updating SAP work orders, supporting the maintenance teams, and attending key meetings to ensure scheduling and work progress are aligned. You will manage administrative tasks such as materials ordering and invoice approval and establish a site consumables store to optimise stock levels. Your daily actions will involve coordinating with engineering and operations teams, managing stock, and ensuring timely repair and maintenance activities, including off-site equipment decontamination and credit repairs.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven experience in materials planning, site coordination, or related administrative support within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage stock, procurement, and documentation efficiently.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with engineering teams, suppliers, and management.
Ability to support a safety-conscious environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
