We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planning Engineer to join a major nuclear civil infrastructure project based in Whitehaven. This role will support the development and management of integrated project schedules, helping ensure programme certainty across multiple civil engineering packages while contributing to the successful delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure programme.

This position would suit a Planning Engineer with experience working on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects who enjoys analysing complex programmes and coordinating across multiple disciplines. It will appeal to someone who is confident using Primavera P6 and thrives in structured environments where planning accuracy directly supports project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain and update detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6
* Support integrated planning across civil engineering activities including earthworks, reinforced concrete and utilities
* Monitor project progress against key milestones and report on programme performance
* Work closely with design, construction and commercial teams to align design deliverables with construction activities
* Identify programme risks, support mitigation planning and produce clear planning reports for project leadership

In return you'll receive a salary up to £71k, 25 days holiday, up to 8% company pension contribution and private medical insurance.
