Positions available at; 1-5PQE, 4-8PQE, 6PQE+, 10PQE+

Over recent weeks, there has been a noticeable increase in demand from National Top 50 UK & Global Law firms, for experienced Planning Lawyers in London. This is expected to increase into the start of 2026, so now is a great time to see what the market has to offer.

Capio have been instructed by leading Chambers & L500 Ranked Groups seeking additions, offering broad Planning roles; with further specialities such as;

• Environmental
• Health & Safety
• Development Focus
• Regeneration focus

These firms have targets of between 1,300 – 1,600 Billables; and are highly regarded for developing their Associates. These positions have been created due to an influx of work, and more pipelined for 2026.

Associate positions are available at 1PQE+; where you will receive ongoing development from Senior Associates & Partners.

Multiple Senior/ Managing Associate positions available 4PQE+; where you have support from motivated Associates; and guidance/ backing from Partners to progress in these recognised Planning Groups.

In addition, we are advising on Legal Director & Partner level positions with 5x firms.

Whilst these positions are based in London; we are happy to speak to Associates/ Senior Associates in the Regional offices of Top 50 UK & Global firms, considering relocation.
