APPLY NOW!\n\nThis role will be ideal for an industrial electrician who has Plant experience and can complete the job from start to finish - from maintenance to diagnostics to installations.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nWork in line with the site Health & Safety procedures and policies.\n\nReport daily to the Engineering Team Leader.\n\nLiaise with the Shift Team Leader to ensure efficient operation of factory processes.\n\nDevelop an understanding of core site operations, including:\n\nSteam -raising plant\n\nOdour control systems\n\nEffluent treatment plant\n\nMonitor electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.\n\nCarry out electrical breakdown repairs promptly.\n\nSupport fellow shift personnel as instructed by the Shift Team Leader or site management.\n\nUndertake electrical installation work and site upgrade projects.\n\nPerform routine electrical and mechanical maintenance in line with planned schedules.\n\nParticipate in the on-call rota.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate:\n\nCompleted a recognised City & Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship ().\n\nSignificant electrical experience in a continuous process environment.\n\nStrong background in electrical maintenance and breakdown resolution.\n\nDemonstrable fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.\n\nGood understanding of general factory maintenance practices.\n\nBasic familiarity with PLC logic and inverter drives.\n\nBasic mechanical capability.\n\nPrevious experience working within plant operations.\n\nTo apply for this position, please send your CV in confidence to the team at YCR, and we will review your application shortly.
