Facilities Maintenance Engineer£45,000 + Excellent BenefitsDays Role - Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:15, Friday 08:00-16:15North WalesGap Technical are currently recruiting for a motivated and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join a global manufacturing organisation operating within a highly automated and environmentally conscious production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work across both electrical and mechanical disciplines, supporting site infrastructure, automation equipment and continuous improvement projects.Working as part of the Facilities team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant services, supporting production operations, and contributing to site-wide engineering improvements.Performance ObjectivesProvide electrical installation and maintenance support across site facilities and infrastructureCarry out mechanical installation and maintenance activities in line with safe systems of work and isolation proceduresSupport TPM schedules and respond to breakdowns across production and automation equipmentAssist with continuous improvement initiatives, including energy saving and efficiency projectsSource and coordinate external contractors for facilities related projectsCarry out minor PLC adjustments and basic fault finding activitiesEnsure compliance with health & safety regulations and site engineering standardsSupport maintenance and improvement of building services including heating, plumbing and utilitiesWork collaboratively with production, engineering and automation teams to maintain operational performancePerson Specification18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirableExperience working within a manufacturing or industrial environmentUnderstanding of facilities maintenance, utilities and site servicesBasic PLC knowledge with ability to support fault finding activitiesExperience managing contractors or supporting small project workStrong problem solving ability with a proactive and flexible approachAbility to prioritise workload and support both reactive and planned maintenance activitiesKnowledge of TPM or structured preventative maintenance systems beneficialExperience supporting building services such as heating, plumbing or general facilities maintenance advantageousBenefitsCompetitive salary with annual reviewTwice yearly company performance related review24/7 confidential wellbeing support and onsite mental health championsDiscounted gym membership and corporate dental ratesLong service recognition awardsFree eye tests for regular screen usersProfessional membership fees supportedDiscounted healthcare cash planApplyTo apply, please send your CV via the Apply Now option.
