Plant FitterLocation: East Midlands (site-based, within 30 minutes of Burton-on-Trent/Swadlincote)Salary: Competitive hourly rate + overtime + benefitsWe are working with a well-established industrial business investing heavily in a new state-of-the-art facility. As part of this growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Plant Fitter to join a small, close-knit maintenance team.The Role:Service, maintain and repair heavy plant machinery including shredders, trommels and loading shovelsCarry out inspections, fault finding and diagnostics using modern equipmentComplete mechanical repairs, part replacements and adjustments to ensure operational efficiencyUse hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and electrical testing toolsMaintain accurate service records and daily job logsAbout You:Proven experience working on heavy plant or similar machineryExperience within waste, recycling or similar environments beneficialWelding experience advantageousTime served with recognised engineering qualificationsStrong work ethic with good communication skillsWorking Environment:Mix of workshop and outdoor work in varying conditionsInvolves manual handling, working at height and exposure to industrial environmentsPackage:Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per weekOvertime available, including weekends paid at enhanced rates22 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeThis is a great opportunity to join a growing operation with long-term stability and investment.WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
