Job Title: Plant Mechanic
Location: Kilsyth
Pay Rate: £18.63
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Temporary to Permenant
Hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1630 & 0800-1530 Friday
Minimum of 39 hours per week
Overtime available

Main Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with plant and equipment, sharing knowledge and using initiative while on-site.
Conduct and accurately record routine plant inspections.
Perform scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer specifications.
Carry out pre-through examination inspections to ensure equipment compliance.
Provide familiarisation, guidance, and support to apprentices and operators on the safe operation and correct maintenance of plant.
Advise on, or seek guidance for, plant modifications and development in line with Change Control procedures.
Identify and recommend opportunities to introduce new technology.
Train, mentor, and support the development of team members.
Maintain the company vehicle and its contents to ensure full compliance.
Respond promptly to unforeseen mechanical issues on-site, including outside normal working hours when required.
Monitor and replenish spare parts carried in the company vehicle as necessary.

Requirements:
Will be required to travel across Scotland
A clean driving licence
Level 2 VQ Plant maintenance and repair
