Our client is a small manufacturing business specialising in plastic and acrylic fabrication, producing high-quality sheet plastic components. They are looking for a skilled Plastic Fabricator to join their production team. Responsible for fabricating high-quality acrylic and plastic components using a range of fabrication techniques, requiring a basic proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, while contributing to the production of durable products and ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for plastic fabrication projects Measure, cut, shape, and assemble plastic materials (e.g. acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC) to precise requirements Use fabrication techniques such as heat bending, bonding, machining, forming, and polishing Operate workshop machinery including table saws, routers, polishers, and other fabrication equipment Carry out finishing work such as sanding, ...
