Infrastructure Engineer

Client: Quant Fund – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists

Salary: Up to £130,000 + bonus + package/perks

Location: London (Hybrid/Remote)

My client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and run mission-critical platform infrastructure using modern DevOps practices.

In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design, scale, and automate platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service workflows, helping improve developer productivity and the overall engineering experience.

Key experience areas:

✔️ Observability – monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting

✔️ Scheduling & Orchestration – HPC and container orchestration for high-compute workloads

✔️ Developer Tools – CI/CD, version control, artifact management, and developer platforms

✔️ Middleware – messaging, service discovery, and load balancing

✔️ Databases – relational, NoSQL, and time-series systems

✔️ Automation – infrastructure automation, configuration management, and self-service tooling
