PLC / Controls Engineer (Manufacturing)
£55,000 - £65,000 + Hybrid Working + Bonus + 33 Days Holiday + Company Benefits

Are you a Controls Engineer with experience in TIA Portal/Siemens S7, looking for a unique and varied role heavily involved in the research and development of cutting-edge machinery?
\n
Are you looking to be recognised as the go-to technical expert within a market-leading manufacturer, remotely solving controls related issues across the globe?
\n
In this varied role you will be debugging and problem solving on software, then liaising with 3rd parties to fix issues within special purpose machinery. Using primarily TIA Portal, Siemens S7 and Ladder Logic, you will be providing customer support and assisting Service Engineers globally, with occasional travel to sites as needed.

The Role:

Developing special purpose machinery through R&D
\n
Identifying issues and debugging PLCs, using TIA Portal, Siemens S7 and Ladder Logic
\n
Liaising with global Service Engineers and 3rd parties
\n
Office based, 1 day from home, some travel to customer sites
\n
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:20pm, finish at 3:20pm on Friday

The Person:

Controls Engineer or similar
\n
Able to read and modify PLC code
\n
Looking for a primarily office-based role
\n
\n
