PLC Controls Engineer (Off the Tools) £50,000 - £55,000 + Company Car + 34 Days Holiday + Monday to Friday Northampton Are you a PLC Controls/Automation Engineer or similar looking for a role off the tools working for an industry leading business, where you will get the opportunity to develop and train the next generation of Engineers? In this role you will be developing presentations, materials, and manuals to deliver training to Engineers from a leading businesses training centre. You will impart your knowledge onto small, dedicated groups that are eager to learn, with some travel to customer sites once a month brining plenty of variety. Founded over 80 years ago, this manufacturer and distributor supply state-of-the-art electrical systems globally, with sites across the UK and Asia. They are seeing continuous growth through acquisitions, looking to bolster their training department to be best-in-class. This role would suit a PLC Programmer, Automation or Controls Engineer looking to get off the tools and into a Trainer role, where you will be responsible for leading small class rooms of junior engineers and help them reach their full potential.
