Job Description
Location: Leeds (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £65,000 basic + overtime (OTE £65,000 - £80,000)

\n\nThe Opportunity\n
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and forward-thinking engineering solutions provider that supports manufacturers, OEMs and utilities across the UK.
\n
Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Automation Service Engineer to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on fault finding, project work and customer interaction.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n
Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of industrial electrical and automation systems
\n
Working on PLC systems including Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi
\n
Developing PLC and HMI code, electrical designs and schematics
\n
Carrying out inspections, testing and reporting on electrical systems
\n
Supporting installation, commissioning, shutdowns and start-ups
\n
Delivering both reactive and planned maintenance
\n
Completing detailed reports and handovers
\n
Providing remote support and attending site when required
\n
Working safely and carrying out risk assessments on all tasks
\n
\n\nRequirements\n
\n
HNC/HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
\n
Apprenticeship trained in Electrical Engineering
\n
18th Edition qualified
\n
Strong PLC experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi)
\n
Proven electrical fault-finding ability
\n
Previous experience in a service engineering role
\n
Full UK driving licence
\n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
\n\nWhat's on Offer\n

£65,000 basic salary

Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x (OTE up to £80,000)

Company van (business use)
\n
25 days holiday + bank holidays
