As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations.
Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance, completing multiple jobs per day, ensuring a best in class standard of customer service is provided to the residents and their homes in which you're working.
Qualifications/Experience Required: Proven experience as a Plumber Multi in social housing or similar environment.
City & Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing level 2 (Desired) Knowledge of NHF Sors desirable Relevant trade qualifications in plumbing, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert.
(Desirable) Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
Experience using a PDA, good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions Full, UK, manual driving license Duties Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on social housing properties, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, aiming for a 'First Time Fix' on all jobs to minimise follow-up visits.
Carry out installations, replacements, and servicing of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing workloads effectively to meet budget and time constraints.
Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety guidelines and adhere to relevant legal and technical regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with tenants about repairs and maintenance. xehkeey
