About the RoleMy client is a leading provider of property maintenance and retrofit services, delivering high-quality solutions across social housing and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join their responsive repairs team.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing works alongside general maintenance tasks, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Carry out a range of plumbing repairs and installations, including fixing leaks, pipework, taps, toilets, and drainage issues Diagnose faults and determine appropriate repair solutions Complete multi-trade works such as basic plastering, tiling, painting, and carpentry Respond to reactive maintenance requests in occupied and void properties Ensure all work is completed efficiently with minimal disruption to residents Maintain high levels of customer service when working in tenants’ homes Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company procedures Accurately record work completed and maintain job documentationRequirements Proven experience as a plumber within maintenance or repairs environments NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (preferred) Experience in social housing or residential maintenance Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks to a good standard Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Full UK driving licence (essential)What We Offer Competitive salary of £36,000 Company van and fuel card Permanent, secure role with a growing organisation Opportunities for training and career progression Supportive and professional working environmentHow to ApplyIf you are an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
