COMPANY OVERVIEW: My client has been providing building support services to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients for over 45 years. They deliver mechanical, electrical and security services to both commercial and domestic properties and have built a strong reputation for reliable service. JOB PURPOSE: To support the team in carrying out wet work duties including cylinder changes, radiator replacements and upgrades, heating controls (2 port and 3 port valves), pumps, associated pipework and power flushing. This role would suit someone with around 1 year's experience who is looking to build on their skills and progress further. JOB SPECIFICATION: Assist with and carry out plumbing and heating works in occupied and void properties, including attending water leaks. Work to client specifications and complete jobs in a timely manner while following current legislation and company procedures. Carry out basic risk assessments before starting work to ensure safety and prevent damage or injury. Wear correct uniform and PPE at all times when representing the company. Attend allocated jobs within target times and report any delays to your line manager or supervisor. Identify materials and parts required for each job and communicate any additional requirements.
