Post Room & Operations Assistant Global Luxury GroupBased: North London (Kentish Town) Hourly Rate: £15.89 (plus holiday pay) Details: 2-month temping assignmentOur client, a world-leading luxury group, is seeking a meticulous and reliable individual to join their Customer Service Operations team in North London. This is a vital operational role where you will be responsible for the efficient handling and registration of luxury watch repairs.We are looking for a candidate with an exceptional eye for detail who understands the care and security required when handling high-value client products.The RoleThis is a full-time temping assignment of 37.5 hours per week, focused on the safe receipt and registration of luxury items. You will be responsible for:Post & Parcel Management: Safely opening parcels and handling client products correctly as per strict procedures.Accurate Registration: Identifying client accounts and products, recording aesthetic defects, and logging client requests accurately into the system.Systems & Logistics: Managing repair flows within SAP and assisting the postroom with packing and creating shipping labels.Operational Support: Matching spare parts with specific repairs and assisting with the collection of deliveries.Team Collaboration: Supporting other operations in the service centre when required with a positive, \"can-do\" approach.Skills & ExperienceProfessional Background: Previous experience in a postroom, logistics, or administrative role is desired.Attention to Detail: The ability to record tracking details and product conditions with absolute accuracy is essential.Confident with Systems: You must be computer literate (MS Office, Excel, Outlook). Experience with SAP is a significant benefit, though training is provided.Reliability: You must be organised, efficient, and able to adhere to security procedures at all times.Comfortable with the physical elements of post handling, including packing and moving repairs (trolleys and lifts are provided).Additional InformationHours: 37.5 hours per week. Working patterns are 8:00 am 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch) or 8:00 am 4:30 pm (1-hour lunch). The role is for two months initially.Background Checks: Due to the nature of the products, the successful candidate will be subject to a comprehensive security clearance process.Timeline: We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible (on no more than a week's notice), allowing approximately two weeks for background checks to be completed.LK People is a leading London recruitment consultancy specialising in support staff.
