The Opportunity

L Y Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established civil engineering company operating within the oil, gas, and utilities sector.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Powder Coaters / Industrial Painters to join a busy and professional workshop team in Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company delivering high-quality fabrication and pipeline projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing steelwork and pipework for coating
  • Powder coating and/or industrial spray painting
  • Working on structural steel and fabricated components
  • Ensuring high-quality finishes to industry standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working to deadlines within a fast-paced engineering setting
What Were Looking For
  • Minimum 4 years experience in powder coating or industrial painting
  • Experience within engineering, fabrication, or heavy industry
  • Ideally exposure to oil, gas, or utilities projects
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:30am 5:00pm
  • 1-hour lunch break
Salary & Benefits
  • £15.00 £17.50 per hour depending on experience
