About The Role:
We are recuriting for a fencing company specialising in the manufacture and installation of high-quality metal fencing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Due to increased demand, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Powder Coater to join the production team.
The Role:
As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and coating metal fencing components to a high standard, ensuring durability, consistency, and a professional finish across all products.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing metal fencing products for coating (cleaning, masking, pre-treatment)
Applying powder coating using manual or automated spray equipment
Curing coated items in ovens to specified temperatures and times
Inspecting finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment
Assisting with general workshop duties when requiredRequirements:
Previous experience in powder coating or a similar finishing role
Knowledge of metal preparation and coating processes
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasksDesirable (but not essential):
Experience working with fencing or fabricated metal products
Forklift licence
Familiarity with different coating powders and finishesWhat We Offer:
