We're seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to drive design and analysis for advanced low and medium voltage electrical systems across projects ranging up to multi-megawatt scale. From early-stage planning to hands-on commissioning, you’ll play a key part in delivering reliable and efficient power solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing Collaborate across departments to define, design, and integrate electrical power networks – including generation, distribution, conversion, control systems, and energy storage. Perform system simulations and technical assessments covering load flow, short-circuit behavior, power quality (including harmonics), and EMC compliance. Develop comprehensive engineering documentation such as functional specifications, technical requirements, and equipment data sheets for electrical components like transformers, motors, converters, and switchgear. Ensure that all designs meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams on projects that require UK citizenship and security clearance.
