PPA Teacher, Primary School

PPA Teacher – Primary (EYFS, KS1 & KS2)
Malton & Surrounding Areas | Flexible | Up to Full-Time

Some teaching roles are about routine.
This one is about variety, with familiarity built in.

We’re working with a small, well-connected cluster of primary schools centred around Malton, with additional schools in Pickering, Driffield, Norton and nearby villages, who are looking for a PPA Teacher to provide consistent cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Although the role involves working across multiple schools, this isn’t ad-hoc supply. These schools want a PPA Teacher they know. Someone staff recognise, pupils feel comfortable with, and leadership teams can rely on week after week. You’ll rotate through the same schools, becoming a familiar and trusted presence.

The role
You’ll deliver PPA Teacher cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, teaching planned lessons and keeping learning on track. One day might be Key Stage 1 phonics, another Key Stage 2 maths, another supporting EYFS provision. It’s real classroom teaching, just without the long-term pressures attached. Additional day will be available for those who can work full time in delivering absence cover.
